Winterstø - Inn fra kulden

Terje Winterstø Røthing had a Christmas melody stuck in his head for four years. He asked his friend Knut Robberstad to write the lyrics, and later invited the Norwegian rapper Izabell to join as a duet partner. This is the video for the song that became “Inn fra kulden.” The video was filmed in the barn at Line Gård on Jæren on the West coast of Norway, and in the surrounding outdoor areas near the farm. The song explores the feeling of standing on the outside, not fitting into the glittering world of others, while finding warmth and belonging with someone who understands. Told through the perspective of a crooked Christmas tree, it reminds us to look beyond the surface, to see more than the exterior, and to remember those who are left standing in the cold when Christmas comes.
